Celsius performance glass is becoming an increasingly popular choice for conservatory roofs. Not only for its impressive aesthetic appeal but glass also tends to have a much longer life span compared to other roofing options.

Celsius has a unique coating which enables it to keep conservatories cooler in summer (by reflecting solar heat away) as well as warmer in winter (by deflecting heat from inside the home back into the property). The argon filled units also offer dramatically increased sound insulation, reduced glare (thanks to a subtle blue tint) and the glass has an easy cleaning capability as water runs off the glass taking most dirt and grime with it.

The Sunburst option for the Pavillion conservatory is a custom designed 'sun' PVCu design on the side of the conservatory parallel to the property. The 'Sunburst Gable' incorporates a radial pattern which arches out from above the doors as shown in the image.

Trickle vents are an innovative design which allows the air in your conservatory to freely be exchanged with fresh air. A switch controls the function to allow air to be exchanged in the cavaties of the window structure. Please click the image to view a detailed image of trickle vents and for more information.

Shorter-wave visible light passes into the interior and visible light is absorbed by the interior and reradiated as heat.

Longer-wave heat energy is reflected, keeping summer heat out. Low E glass reflects heat to the interior.

Polycarbonate with a bronze tint is available as an extra option. This will further help you prevent damage to your skin from the sun's rays. Bronze polycarbonate from Carlton brings a 'sunshade' effect.

You can select clear polycarbonate as a replacement of the standard glass for your conservatory. With outstanding durability and strength combined with fantastic thermal insulation properties, polycarbonate is an ideal upgrade for your Carlton conservatory.
